Signing into law the Major Richard Star Act which would allow those Service members who are medically retired with less than 20 Years of Active-Duty Service to be fully eligible for full VA Disability Pay.

Protect Full Military Honors and Burial at Arlington National Cemetery (ANC). Eligibility changes for interment and inurnment at ANC are imminent through the federal rule-making process. Identification of expanded Arlington property or new national cemetery resources that afford full military honors to accommodate all those currently eligible for Arlington National Cemetery.

BAH Restoration Act Servicemembers and young military families across the country are facing financial strain, and housing costs play a big role.

Tax Relief for Retirees

See the tab entitled "Military Retirement Income Exemption" to review the past feasibility studies regarding achieving exemption of retired military pay. We will be working with the new state administration to address this issue.
