1LT Glenn Marshall (USA) is a member of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME). He serves on the AME Southeastern Regional Board covering 13 states and his role is to lead an educational renaissance to graduate skilled, career, and college-ready citizens to join the workforce, military, and or continue with their post-secondary education.
At the Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) he deployed Lean Manufacturing principles to increase the productivity of the workforce and supplier network. He retired from NNS as the benchmarking champion to identify and deploy industry best practices.  He now serves as a career pathways volunteer where he encourages more vocational training. He is actively involved with the VIPMOAA team to setup a JROTC program with Williamsburg/James City County public schools.
