In 2018 all eleven JROTC units on the Virginia Peninsula were recognized – including JROTC units from Bethel, Denbigh, Gloucester, Hampton, Heritage, Kecoughtan, Menchville, Phoebus,Tabb, Warwick, and York.  Scholarships were awarded to senior cadets at all 11 Junior ROTC units for $500 on the Virginia Peninsula as well as 11 MOAA Leadership medals with a $25 VIPMOAA  gift card to Junior Cadets at each of the 11 units.
