Virginia Peninsula Chapter MOAA
Why Join VIPMOAA
A good question!

Your local chapter of MOAA reflects the spirit and “Can Do” attitude of the peninsula area. The VIPMOAA Chapter is a proactive organization of veteran military leaders and surviving spouses involved in supporting our military, our veterans, our community, and, yes, we are a social organization. With our members working as a team, VIPMOAA is able to influence local issues and programs that affect veterans. We support youth military programs such as JROTC and ROTC as well as making a difference by contributing time, talent, and funding to local organizations. We also support agencies that serve military personnel and families such as the Liberty Lounge in Colonial Williamsburg, our local USO, and other veterans' organizations.

Comradeship is another important aspect of VIPMOAA membership.  Through our various social events such as dinners, luncheons, and outings, our members are able to rekindle a spirit of service to our country and maintain their currency of military affairs and issues that affect veterans and our active military. Our events provide a time to “talk of things as they are” and how they really were “back then”.

Our monthly VIPMOAA Newsletter keeps all members informed of key legislative issues, both in the Commonwealth and at the Federal Level, and helps ensure that members are updated on chapter events and activities. If you believe that our military is one of our country’s greatest assets, if you think supporting our community and our veterans is a civic duty, and if you would like be part of an organization that embraces camaraderie; you should be a member of  VIPMOAA. Be a part of helping VIPMOAA continue its support of our military and our community. A VIPMOAA Membership Application is attached. Take that step; “Never Stop Serving” become a member of VIPMOAA.  When warriors, old and new, work together we can “MAKE A DIFFERENCE”.
